Every born again Christian has been set free from the kingdom of Satan's darkness and are now living in the kingdom of light, the kingdom of God's dear Son, Jesus Christ. The Lord's anointing of freedom is upon every child of God. We read about the Spirit of the Lord, the Holy Spirit, which anoints all true believers, from Luke chapter 4 verses 18 and 19. God's children are also empowered to preach and witness the gospel, to unbelievers. They can also announce pardon and forgiveness so that the scales of unbelief are removed from the understanding, of unbelievers. Those who live in the blindness of this world, that is all those who are oppressed by the flesh, the world and the devil, can now live in God's glorious light. This can be the very day of salvation that God's favour flows, to all mankind, willing to believe!

After the Fall, in the Garden of Eden, all of mankind became sinners and were reduced to living in the dark world of sin empowered by Satan and His demonic hosts. Mankind had fallen from his graceful fellowship with God and all had now become enslaved. However, there were some faithful people such as Enoch and Noah, from the first world, before the Flood, who were still able to have fellowship, with their Creator God. Mankind, as a whole, was in cruel bondage to sin and its cruel ways until the advent of Jesus Christ, into man's fallen world. When Jesus died on the Cross and then rose again, mans' penalty for sin, was broken. All who believed in Him were now set free and were able to be resurrected, with Him and their sins forgiven. They were born again children, of God, who, from the moment they believed, were then able to have fellowship and also able to live with God, for eternity.

Christians are a separated people from the unsaved world around them. Does that make them a special people? It sure does! They have been willing to repent of their sins and failures and have had their spirit person, their eternal them, recreated in the likeness of God and have become one of God's children, for eternity. Were they always special? Yes and no is the problematical answer. Because they were willing to accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, they were then elected by God the Father, and recreated by the Holy Spirit, to become one of His special chosen people. This means that their old sin nature had been recreated or born again. God's chosen ones began their earthly life like everyone else, on earth. Their inherited sin nature was in bondage to Satan and was a slave of sin. When they repented they were born again and have become a separate person of Almighty God.

Before God's throne in heaven, every person, who has ever or will ever live on earth, has been or will be found guilty of sinning against God and His laws of holiness and righteousness. Not one of us is capable, in our own ideas or understanding, to be a perfect person, able to stand innocently, before a righteous God. However, we can become one of His righteous children, by repenting of our sins and accepting Jesus Christ, as our personal Lord and Saviour. Through the precious blood, shed on the Cross at Calvary, we can be cleansed and our spirit or our old sin nature can be recreated by the Holy Spirit, so that we become a new creation, as a child of God. If we don't repent, we remain guilty as a sinner, before God. Don't be guilty of being an unrepentant sinner!

God's Work Is Important
It is vital that God's children learn to first ask the Holy Spirit, then listen to what He tells their spirit then finally carry out the plans of God, according to His will and purposes and not their own. It is so important to be willing to put aside what our mind would like to do and not only be willing to listen but to obey the instructions of the Holy Spirit. This will always be in line with the revelation knowledge of God's word, the Holy Bible. Always call upon the Lord and remember to do God's work, His way and not your own.
