Full Show: Imagine If We Dated...

Wed, 29 Apr 2026

Meeting people in real life is apparently harder than ever and a Body and Soul guide to dating in 2025 made everyone deeply uncomfortable. Bruce Isaacs delivered his verdict on the Michael Jackson biopic and called it wonderful, critics be damned. Young couples are ditching engagement rings for tattoos instead and we had thoughts. Wil Anderson came in ahead of Gruen returning to ABC tonight and was exactly as sharp as you would expect. Madonna is playing gay clubs ahead of her new album which is the most Madonna thing possible. And Patrick Brammall stopped by fresh from the Devil Wears Prada 2 premiere to tell us he turned down the audition, did nothing, and got offered the role anyway. The fake Rolex story alone was worth the visit.

Why Patrick Brammall Said No to 'Devil Wears Prada 2' At First

Tue, 28 Apr 2026

Patrick Brammall stops by fresh from the premiere and immediately tells us he turned down the audition for Devil Wears Prada 2 because he was busy and didn't think he had a chance. A week later they offered him the role without him lifting a finger. Pure Bradbury. He also spent the entire shoot wearing a Rolex that turned out to be fake, the props department had been putting it in a safe every day without knowing, and he nearly bought it for $500. He calls Anne Hathaway Annie, had to remind Stanley Tucci who he was on day one, and Colin from Accounts season three is wrapped and coming later this year.

Bruce Isaacs Called the Michael Jackson Movie Wonderful and We Believe Him

Tue, 28 Apr 2026

Film critic Bruce Isaacs stops by and delivers a verdict on the Michael Jackson biopic that cuts right through all the noise: he thinks it is one of the most wonderful films he has seen in years. Critics on Rotten Tomatoes gave it 32%. Audiences who are fans gave it 97%. Bruce says both are right depending on your relationship to the legacy. If you go in wanting the film to litigate Michael's guilt or innocence you will struggle, but if you go in for the music and the story you will be emotional and overwhelmed.

Dating in 2025 Sounds Absolutely Horrifying

Tue, 28 Apr 2026

A Body and Soul guide to meeting people in real life has us deeply uncomfortable. The tips include spending time alone at bars and cafes, maintaining steady eye contact with strangers you find attractive, and starting conversations in the bathroom line. Ricki would call the police if someone stared at her like that. Tim talks to people in lifts and urinals and thinks the bathroom line chat is actually fine. We are two very different people. Both deeply grateful we do not have to date.

Full Show: K-U-R-N-E-L?

Tue, 28 Apr 2026

Tuesday's show had everything. A Sydney beach had to close because of a whale carcass washing up, which is not ideal. Tim drove to Hoyts purely to buy popcorn and a Coke and did not see a film, and we respect the commitment. We spun the wheel and played Spelling Bee, and one listener's attempt at spelling colonel will live in our memories forever. We talked about the booing at ANZAC Day ceremonies over the weekend which was genuinely upsetting. Stanley Tucci said active wear should only be worn while working out and Sydney took it as a personal attack. Kids in Sydney have been caught bus surfing which opened up the phones for everyone's own childhood crimes. Ricki saw the Michael Jackson movie and had thoughts in today's Glossys. We broke down everyone who acted strange during the White House Correspondents dinner shooting. And Pete Helliar came in to play Sing, which was exactly as chaotic as you would expect.
