The Digital Domain Online Radio Show for November 10, 2025

Nick was a gentle nudge at the beginning of this episode, in hopes that lurking listeners would make themselves known. Did it work? Jayson’s also equally nudgy, teasing Bob with something he thought Nick knew about…spoiler alert, Nick didn’t. Advisories? Bob is getting sick and tired of them, and he’s making fun of them because that’s what he does. Jayson has finally got himself into the Claude world, having it write a story about prank calls that Eleven Labs reads – interrupted in the middle by a call from Ray who has a game of Six Degrees…but of whom? Me, Myself, and Chip has a special…um…guest? Yeah, let’s go with that. Derek and Nick have a…preview…Of the upcoming Lyriel song? Yeah, let’s go with that. In the second hour, ‘Guess How Old’ is back! Nick and Bob play that game with the listeners again, this time focusing on clips of people Bob knows. The game fostered a discussion of how speech patterns have changed and how voice aging is also not what it once was. Finally…Are sports just variations on the game of Fetch? Derek thinks so, and he thinks he’s got evidence to prove it. If this description doesn’t make you want to download this episode…We don’t know what to tell you.

Nick’s back to normal this week, and he’s gotten silly, but not before some technical difficulties forced a song exceedingly early in the show. After they were fixed, Nick takes you inside is weird brain in which he wrote two stories – via two different AI models – involving two guys named Kirk and Curt. Which one – and which model – did the listeners prefer? Download to find out. Similarly, download to find out exactly what Katie did on Halloween and how it went over. Thanks to the Thomas J. Sarnowski studio’s existence, what anomaly has happened that has never happened before involving the show’s date? Find out. Nick has a song dedication for Bob. Despite Nick’s use of it, has AI jumped the shark? A story Nick found might answer the question. Phone calls, text messages, and a follow-up musical submission from Jeffrey to Mona round out this episode. Give it a download!

The Digital Domain Online Migraine Show for October 27, 2025

Sun, 16 Nov 2025
The title says it all – the show was abbreviated because Nick had a major migraine in the hours before the show. The pain was lessened by the time this episode went to air, but the lethargy was not, so they did what they could. However, Nick is feeling a great deal of pride even while tired as he can finally announce something that’s been teased since March – Nick Giannak, Derek Lane, and Gianluca Apollaro are the producers for Lyriel’s future output, under the name ‘Three Guys Productions.’ The listeners react to that. Bob plays a clip of his friend Christine singing a song that’s especially important to her. There’s a follow up from the previous week’s discussions of a phone sex line, Alex finally debuts a remix he’s been working on for months of Rorie Kelly’s track Saltwater. What exactly did he do to it, and what were his thoughts in the process? Find out. All that plus phone calls, text messages, and a Nick broken in the more conventional way – thankfully, it did not mar the proceedings.

The Digital Domain Online Radio Show For October 20, 2025

Tue, 21 Oct 2025
This episode nearly didn’t happen, because Amazon AWS famously had a major outage on the day of show. While HKC Radio’s own infrastructure – including its telephone and text systems – aren’t hosted at AWS…Twilio, the telephone service provider that backs the aforementioned system, is. Spoiler alert, it stabilized just in time, and the show went off without technical incident. Derek sent a comedy bit to preview HKC Radio’s upcoming Halloween automation, but not before Jayson presented a Suno-generated Country Song out of python code to our resident Country Music DJ. Also, not before Derek accidentally made his favorite local AI Text-to-speech generator read a wave file data. What? Exactly. Bob Sarnowski played, for the first time, The Oyster Fest, but instead of playing the music, Me, Myself, and Chip’ showed up at Oyster Fest…Nick and Bob played that instead. Nick also decided to play a heartwarming piece of audio from last year’s Oyster Fest…Don’t miss the listener reaction to that. Katie submits yet another song on which she played and performed backing vocals in the studio, this by her friend Boyd Riddlesden. It was thematically appropriate. Afterward? A ping-ponging hour in which phone sex lines, Leroy Anderson’s Typewriter song, and Yamaha keyboards fit together…somehow. If you want to know how, download this archive…It’s a show Nick called a miracle after it finished.

The Digital Domain Online Radio Show for October 13, 2025

Fri, 17 Oct 2025
Did a tree almost fall on Bob’s house, and how does that relate to this episode’s existence today? They’ll answer that one and call back an event from last year. Jayson does everything he can to provoke Ray into calling by talking about a Claude story. Was he around? Find out. However, Jayson does send an amusing Claude story that demonstrates that it can intake content from this web page and use it effectively. Does the owner of the homestead secretly want to be a metal drummer? Bob’s got audio that surprised the hell out of Nick. Someone took the lyrics of a song from a musical and ran them through Suno – what was the output like? And what did everyone think of it? It’s October which means once again, Bob’s aggravated at his hockey team. But what did Bob do that’s uncharacteristic of him…and did he end up paying for it? Nick has a follow up from back in 2019, during that period where the show went Gameshow crazy. What is it and how does everyone react? It’s a show heavy on phone calls, messages, big laughs…And Bob having something very important to tell the listeners, a happy event that would not take place were it not for this show, earlier in the year. It’s an episode that took place after a damn good few days for both hosts, and it shows.
